You’re looking at buying a new house, but it needs some work; the layout is awkward, the finishes are outdated, the en suite isn’t big enough, and it has a dreaded sunshine ceiling. Many people find it hard to envision future changes when its current state is staring you right in the face… but that’s where we come in.
Our 1.5 hour home purchase walkthrough aims to assist clients with making informed design decisions when purchasing a new home. The walkthrough involves a visit to the potential home, where we will assess the property's existing design elements, including finishes, fixtures, and the overall flow of the space including any challenges or opportunities that the space presents. We will discuss your design preferences, lifestyle, and budget, and provide advice and recommendations on potential design options that could work for the space.
Some of the topics that may be covered during the walkthrough include:

• Possible changes to the floor plan
• Kitchen + bathroom updates, including layout, finishes, and plumbing/lighting fixtures
• Flooring + finishes
• Furniture placement
• Stairs and railings
• Windows + window treatments
• Ability to salvage any existing finishes, fixtures, cabinetry, etc.
• Any potential issues and big-ticket items
• Exterior updates
